Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan gives you one US or Canadian number, unlimited US and Canada calls and texts (fair use applies) and free incoming calls. It shows one ad in your messages list and nowhere else. Paid plans remove the ad and add more.
Do I need a SIM card or a second phone?
No. HopSlide is an app on the phone you already have, and it works over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Your main number keeps working as before.
Do I have to give you my phone number?
No. Sign up with an email address, with Apple or with Google. We never ask for your existing number.
How long do I keep my number?
As long as you use it. Open the app at least once every 90 days and the number stays yours. If you forget, we remind you three times, then hold the number 30 more days so you can reclaim it. Lock, Plus and Premium Number keep it for as long as you subscribe, even if you don't open the app.
Which countries can I get a number in?
Your number is in the United States or Canada. You can call and text people in other countries with international credit.
Can I take my number with me?
Yes. You can move your number to another phone company, and we don't block a valid request. Here's how.
